DUCK CALLING UNIVERSITY & GOOSE CALLING 101
Tired of scaring all the ducks away when you try to call at them? Do you have a hunting buddy who you wish would take a lesson or stuff his duck call where the sun doesn't shine? Well we're here to help! Ruckus Outfitters is offering a day long duck call training course. Join NWTF National Call Maker of the Year Troy Taylor and Champion Caller Robert Strong in the most in depth intense calling instruction class you will ever attend! This is not your Grandad's duck calling cassette tape you were forced to listen to on the way to the duck blind!
In this class you will learn the science behind why and how a duck call works. The physiology of you the caller and how to manipulate the air to control pitch and inflection. Learn how to master basic and advance sounds with training excercises to aid progression. Learn how to properly tune your call to get the pitch and sound that you want and the cure for common troubles like sticking your call. Even learn how to cut your own reeds!
Goose Calling 101-
Are you struggling with learning how to operate a Short Reed Goose Call? Do you wish that you could just spend a few hours with someone that really knows the ins/outs of a call and teach you where your going wrong? Our Goose Calling 101 course will teach you from scratch everything you've been struggling with. From how to properly hold a call to create needed back pressure, how to present air into the call to get true goosey sounds. More advanced sounds like double clucks, moans, spit notes ect. We will teach you how to properly take your call apart and re-tune without fear and even how to custom shave your reed to fit you perfectly! Our class is filled with personal 1 on 1 time from attentive instructors Troy Taylor and Robert Strong.
Classes to be held:
Saturday, September 22nd at Tulalip, Cabela's Conference room 9am-4pm for Duck Cost: $60
Sunday, September 23rd at Tulalip , Cabela's Conference room 9am-4pm for Goose Cost: $80
