Hunting Season Comes to an End
The long Waterfowl hunting season has come to an end. The season started out well with lots of birds early. Unfortunately the snow came early too, dumping feet not inches onto our corn fields. Most of the birds pushed out of the area half way through the season, making for some tough hunting. As the season progressed we saw a warming trend late in the month of January. The Birds came back by the thousands, in large groups, all with their PHD's. Some highly educated and super wary birds were difficult to contend with, we pulled out a few tricks from up our sleeve and managed to scratch out some decent hunts. Look forward to next season and the disappearance of La Nina with its crazy weather so things can get back to normal. Thanks to all the great customers we had this season at Ruckus Outfitters, we truly appreciate your business and the new friends we have made! Now its time to go catch some steelhead! Bring the Ruckus Baby!
