This class rocks and is definitely worth the time & $$!
ReplyDeleteTake all those DVD’s and CD’s you’ve been playing in your truck and either get rid of them or use them as refreshers. Blowing calls in the car with no mechanism for feedback is not close to the caliber of instruction being able to sit in a class being taught with a couple guys with the pedigree Troy and Rob do; this class greatly improved my calling on the spot. Getting 1:1 instructional time to make subtle adjustments were the key to my calling greatly improving throughout the day.
I’m still going to need to put in the work and practice, but I plan on taking this class again next time it’s offered. I’m a beginner caller but there were guys in the class who’ve called for years and had advanced calling techniques provided to make everyone better.
One of the things I found the most interesting was learning how to tune and replace my call parts. I never knew how easy it can be! Now I can buy supplies and be ready to adjust any of my calls the night before or even on the spot in the field if necessary.
If you want to learn how to call or just come away being a better duck caller, I recommend this course.
